Partners for Possibility:
Partners for Possibility is a creative solution to South Africa’ education crisis – it is a co-action, co-learning partnership between school principals and business leaders, enabling social cohesion through partnerships, and empowering principals to become change leaders in their schools and communities. This programme has been endorsed by the likes of Desmond Tutu, and Trevor Manuel.
Sadia was chosen as a business leader to partner with Fay Daniels from Aloe Junior School in Lentegeur, Mitchells Plain. This school is located in an area serving children from poverty stricken homes, and deep social challenges. Sadia and Fay have formed a strong bond during their journey. One of the main focusses in their time together has been the empowerment of the teaching staff and the children. Other challenges they are tackling include funding for sports facilities, stationery for their Arts and Craft project and sponsorship for their sports stars.
Secret Sunrise – Charity Events and Schools
Secret Sunrise is a global movement and platform to share positivity and get the world grooving, celebrating, feeling united in joy, and making a global change. It truly is a movement for ‘spreading the love’.
Sadia is part of team bringing this concept to schools in recognition of children benefitting from such an event. Each event is themed to promote personal qualities such as tolerance, self-worth, and kindness to others, whilst having fun in a safe environment.
Ambassador for Lady Lion
The Lady Lion was a programme encouraging women entrepreneurs to participate in sharing their business ideas with a possibility of gaining R100 000.00 towards the manifestation of their vision. Sadia was asked to be an Ambassador for this Programme.
